Actual Operation
For some reason the official manual is inaccurate. It describes button 5 and 6 which do not function as stated. Here is the corrected functionality referencing unit side when it is pointing to the LEFT.
The two buttons in the left side control
- power on/off
- brightness
- night mode
POWER
- short press right button with "sun" symbol to turn on
- long press right button with "sun" symbol to turn off
- if left on until will auto power off in an hour
BRIGHTNESS
- short press right button with "sun" symbol to increase brightness
- short press multiple times to cycle though brightness levels until starts with dimmest
- short press left button with "NV" to active night mode (very dim reticle)
- Long pressing the left button "NV" does not power the unit off even though the reticle becomes absent. Unknown function.
- If you power the unit on by pressing the "NV" button unit will start in night mode with very dim reticle.
