==Does the Tytera / TYT TH-9800 talk AM?==There are some variations of the Quad Band TYT TH-9800 being sold. There is a "Plus" model that is supposed to have updated improved firmware.Reports of the Plus model being able to transmit AM (Amplitude Modulation) have been made. We have acquired three different TYT TH-9800 transceivers, one being designated "Plus" by a red sticker on the unit.We will use a spectrum analyzer and determine if any of the three units will transmit AM and report the results here.
