The video will record <del>to MPEG format by default</del> and the video file created in My Documents\VLC Record . In Windows 7 this file is located in C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\vlc . The video will capture to your drive. The default path in XP is My Documents\VLC Record and in Vista/Windows 7 is C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\vlc , however, the path can be set to a custom path.
