1. Remove object that caused puncture. Insert the rasp tool in the hole and slide up and down to roughen and clean the inside of the hole.
2. Coat needle tool with rubber cement and slide up and down in hole to lubricate area. Remove repair string from its protective backing and insert into eye of needle, then coat the repair material with cement.
3. Insert needle with repair string centered into hole until hole is pushed in approximately two-thirds of the way.
4. Pull needle straigt out with rapid motion (do not twist needle when pulling out).
5. Cut off excess repair plug flush with tire thread. Inflate tire to proper air pressure.
